James E. McNellie's Public House - Tulsa and Oklahoma City, are pleased to present the 2011 and 2012 James E. McNellie's Pub Run, a race for runners and beer aficionados alike. The Pub Run race route is taking place in historic Downtown Tulsa and throughout 4 miles of Oklahoma City's beautiful neighborhoods.

Generally speaking when you think of running a 4 mile race you don't think of stopping at mile markers to chug 12 ounce cups of Guinness beer and then continue to run. But the good folks at McNellie's Pub have gone ahead and done away with that rational thought process and gladly bring you their yearly annual Pub Run dedicated to running and well…drinking. With two annual races, one for Tulsa, Oklahoma and one for Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the race is for runners and beer aficionados alike.

We have to admit, after seeing the photos of the Pub Run races ( and the Guinness ) this is starting to seem like a hell of a lot of fun. Also with a down right cheap event fee we may just have to jump into this ourselves, cheers to McNellie's Pub Run!
